THE ROLE OF BME PARENTS/CARERS This workshop will explore ways in which BME parents/carers successfully work with their childrens schools and the positive effects this has had on their childrens educational progress. STIMULATING ACHIEVEMENT AND ATTAINMENT This workshop investigates what works to stimulate the achievement and attainment of the BME children and young people and what can hold them back. COLLABORATIVE WORKING BETWEEN SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROJECTS This workshop provides examples of good practice and partnership working which have contributed to higher academic achievement and improved relations between schools and BME families.
