This interactive workshop will help in developing relations between children’s commissioners in health and local authority settings, and third sector providers of children’s services. The participants will help design a regional programme of activity for the coming year, be provided with an update of the current policy context for working collaboratively, illustrations of current third sector contributions to the health and well being of children, lessons of collaborative commissioning from the Children’s Fund, and be given an update on a DCSF funded pilot project for improving residential and foster care for children across the region.
